Check length of Datamatrix codes in Vision Scape
The other symbologies have a tool to check the length of the decoded text but not Datamatrix. Here's a way to insert an if statement into vscape that checks the length and compares it to what you want.

How to change the IP on pre autovision 4.0 cameras
If you use
hyperterminal and connect to the current IP address of the camera port 23

Cycle power and

Using the 5vdc ID-30, you can connect using a USB break out cable. The cable provides a trigger and new master inputs as well as 3 outputs. The USB can be Ethernet over USB AND virtual com or keyboard wedge. So you can get images and setup via a web browser and get your data another way!
