QX Hawk C-mount reads codes down to 2mil

Here's a screen shot from the ESP software showing a 2mil or 2pt datamatrix. A 5mm spacer and 25mm lens are used. the QX Hawk C-mount offers the flexibility and speed where a 5+megapixel imager could read it but be very slow.

Depth of field and field of view are limited but it tears off the code at 20/second.

Autovision Cameras have internal web server

The latest version of Microscan's Autovision software includes network accessible web pages. This allows anyone on the company network to type in the camera IP address and see what the camera sees.

An overlay of the tools being used would be really helpful but this is an easy way to monitor each camera without being right there. The Vision Hawk and Vision Mini have this capability.
