QX Hawk and DOAL light reads tough dot peen

The dot peen deforms the part and causes it to bow and ripple. This causes all kinds of reflectivity issues and different diameters of marks. Using the Microscan QX Hawk and a DOAL light from Nerlite, we're able to easily read this mark.

The green LED creates enough contrast and helps wash out the border box so the code can be read. It takes the horsepower of the QX hawk to complete the solution.
