Microscan has a version of Code Corps much OEM'd CR2 scanner with bluetooth capabilities.If you don't have a com port on your PC but need USB serial - you can't use the USB bluetooth modem
But you can use a third party modem such as a Belkin USB adapter.
The cleanest way I got it to work was to plug it in and allow Windows to recognize and install the drivers. Go to Device Manager and find out what Com port it gave you.
Create a quick connect code using the Microscan ESP software and the MAC address from the Belkin
Start Hyper Terminal or something at 9600,n,8,1 and the com port from device manage.
Windows will pop up saying a device wants to connect - click on it and enter pin code 12345678 and you should be good to go
