The Microscan QX 870 being a sweeping raster scanner has the ability to read new codes like the one below. 
This particular code is a GS1 databar expanded with 6 segments. These segments include the GTIN or UPC, Weight, expiration date, and serial #. This code will make traceablity much easier on recalls in the food packaging industry.Contact us for more information on this solution

Recently i just purchased the QX870 with Master BB+ decoder as i need to scan 4 barcode on one go. But i encounter sometimes there is missing one char. of one of the barcode. I tried slowing down timeout chars in the Master BB+ but that did not help. Any ideas?
